San Clemente Area Republican Women Federated

 Scholarships for 2020

The San Clemente Area Republican Women, Federated (SCARWF) is awarding scholarships to high school seniors in the San Clemente area.  Scholarships range from $800 to $1,500.

Eligibility  

• United States Citizen         
• Registered Republican voter (or intent to register, if not 18)
• Resident of San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Capistrano Beach, Camp Pendleton, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita 
• Provide, prior to April 20, 2020, proof of intent to enroll in an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Available for an interview with the SCARWF scholarship committee.

Completed Application Includes:

• Completed and signed 2020 Scholarship Application Form (page 2)
• 500 - 700 word multi-paragraph essay.
  

                            Essay Question: “What makes me think I’m a Republican” 

• Official high school transcript
• Resume
• Photo3 Letters of Recommendation (including 1 from a high school instructor and 1 from an outside source)
• Proof of intent to enroll in an accredited institution of high learning.

by April 20, 2020.
