SCARW Holiday Luncheon Meeting
from 10:30am to 1:00pm

Will O'Neill has served for 8 years on the Newport Beach City Council, two stints at Mayor d recruit candidates throughout Orange County into local office. , and re-elected to the OC GOP Central Committee twice. He has helped recruit candidates throughout Orange County into local office.

Mayor O'Neill will discuss his efforts, the objections potential candidates often address, and how to convince good people to run for office. He will also discuss why electing good people to local elected positions has major effects county-wide.

Huntington Beach Councilmember Casey McKeon is a 3rd Generation Huntington Beach resident. He graduated from the University of Southern California and owns a commercial real estate business that renovates and develops retail shopping centers. He was elected to the Huntington Beach City Council in 2022.

Casey will talk about Huntington Beach's Voter I.D. measure that was passed by their residents during the March Primary.

He will also talk about how Huntington Beach is pushing back against the State. They are currently in 4 lawsuits with them. And he will talk about how they were able to team up with 4 strong, conservative candidates in the 2022 election and swept all 4 open seats on their City Council to take back a majority to help other Cities replicate what they did.

AN UNABASHED AMERICAN-LOVING MOM

Labelled by the media as “an unabashed America-loving mom”, Kimberly is an author, columnist and the president and founder of Moms for America®. She is the wife of a retired Air Force officer and mother of 8 children, who has made it her personal mission to educate and inspire the mothers of America to realize their immeasurable worth and powerful influence on society simply by being who they are. Kimberly has the authored or co-authored several books including “WOMEN: America’s Last Best Hope.” She has appeared on numerous national media outlets including Fox News, Sinclair Broadcasting, Townhall, The Blaze and Breitbart. Kimberly has over 17 years’ experience in grassroots activism, including working with two presidential campaigns. She and her family live in Omaha, Nebraska where her husband retired from the Air Force in 2016.

NEW OC SUPERINTENDENT DR. STEFAN BEAN

Dr. Stefan Bean has spent the last 24 years serving Southern California communities and students. Education has always been a passion of his – so much so he devoted his life to it. But recently the quality, corruption and policies hampering positive reform became a dinner table conversation even for those without kids. That’s when he knew he needed to do more.

Last year, Dr. Bean's wife, Janet passed away from cancer. As part of his commitment to his wife, Dr. Bean vowed to continue their pursuit of selflessness, by serving and protecting the students and families of California. It is why he has entered the race of OC Superintendent of Schools.

Dr. Bean is the American Dream and the very best of conservatism. He is the example of resilience and self-determination we want for students - the Republican mantra that there is no obstacle too great that, with hard work, he cannot overcome. Thank you so much for taking the time to join in our effort and help make a difference!

In addition to our keynote speaker, Steve Hilton, SCARW is honored to have Tony Strickland as a guest speaker.
Tony Strickland knows what it means to fight Sacramento’s liberal overreach. As the former Mayor of Huntington Beach, Tony:

Fought to fully fund law enforcement to keep Surf City safe
Fought to clean up a homelessness crisis that was growing out of control
Fought for voter integrity, authoring California’s first local Voter ID initiative

Michael Alexander, Chairman of the School Choice Initiative

Michael Alexander is a Proponent for the Educational Freedom Act, the Founder and President of the California School Choice Foundation, and Chairman of Californians for School Choice. He is a Southern California native, veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and graduate of the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law. He is the Managing Principal of Private Trust Management Group in Pasadena, California. The former host of Radio Free Los Angeles, heard locally on KRLA 870’s The Answer, he currently hosts his own podcast, entitled The Voice of Choice, on the Educational Freedom Act and education issues in California.
