San Clemente Area Republican Women Federated

 Scholarships for 2021

The San Clemente Area Republican Women, Federated (SCARWF) is awarding scholarships to high school seniors in the San Clemente area.  Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000.

Eligibility  

• United States Citizen         
• Registered Republican voter (or intent to register, if not 18)
• Resides in or attends school in San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Capistrano Beach, Camp Pendleton, or Mission Viejo
  
• Provide, prior to April 21, 2021, proof of intent to enroll in an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Available for an interview with the SCARWF scholarship committee (either via ZOOM or in person, TBD).

Completed Application Must Include the following:

• Completed and signed 2021 Scholarship Application Form (page 2)
• 500 - 700 word multi-paragraph essay.

                      Essay Question:  Why have you chosen to align with the Republican party, and how do 
                                                            your values reflect those of the Republican party?

• Official high school transcript
• Resume
• Photo
• 3 Letters of Recommendation (including one from a high school instructor and one from an outside source, preferably not someone related to you)
  
• Proof of intent to enroll in an accredited institution of higher learning.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 21, 2021

Application acceptance is closed as of April 22, 2021

Disclaimer that upon winning:

1. Student will agree to filing with college/university a Report of Scholarship award to the financial office as required.
2. ​Receipt of acceptance from college/university and College ID Registration number with receipt of payment.​
